Recurrence
The sense that a situation is similar to past or other situations. Recurrence is “intersubjective,” social, and immaterial (Miller 156).

Example:
“It is through the process of typification that we create recurrence, analogies, similarities. What recurs is not a material situation (a real, objective, factual event) but our construal of a type” (Miller 157).
